I started pulling apart a jzs143? 2jzge crown a week or so ago and started tracing it out it has 4 plugs on the ecu unlike all the 2jz diagrams Ive seen with 3 plugs. Anyone else seen a 2jz ecu like this and got pin outs? I'll be fine tracing it all out as I have the complete car just want to save some time

Do note, with my diagrams i have found yet another pair of wiring looms which are different. Im not sure my diagram applies to JZA80s or whatever the hell this other stub of a loom has come from.

Takai, your pinouts did not match Ed's 1994? JZA80 2JZ-GE W58.
I've got your excel sheets, so I'll make amendments and post it up, but give me some time (as this post is being used as procrastination instead of wiring up Ed's nugget - and I think he just got here, so I better do some work ).

Heh, ok thats sounds cool. Those diagrams are off the USDM 1995 JZA80 manual, which covers both 2JZ-GE and 2JZ-GTE with A340, W58, R154 and V160 options, with and without ABS, and with and without TRC. Its a seriously big PDF.

Since when did a Supra have a R154 - what combo was that for?

JZA80s came out with a R154 in the US according to this manual.

So what did they get it with? Or did they get it instead of the W58?

Seems they got all the good stuff - steel wheels, bigger cams and injectors, big brakes from the start, and now tougher gearboxes!
