anyone know what is the fuel economy of this engine >? how much MPg it can get >?

these motors came out of pulsar's or something? sounds interesting, got any pics?

they're a RWD motor.

i wouldn't expect good fuel economy.
likely to be lag monsters too - like FJ20's.

i searched for you a bit, they are based on the L series, except they're crossflow, i believe they came out in the jap version bluebird trx's

have a search on them, and that might bare some results...

Cos i have - i am considering between the L16 - and the Z18ET engine ..
and of cos i got a 1G-Fe onmy Ruby celica , 2T on my black celica and a not sure what engine on my White GT ta22 ( ra21 ? )

i am considering to swap it to a 4aGE - but seem like this Z18Et is very intresting also - TWIN PLUG with 8 spark plug - Turbo .. 1.8 . hm.. this is very much the car forum i come on most offen . andknow not of any nissan forum whahaha

I think This would be the last of any more car i am buying .. after this .. cos plus my father and my brothe rcar - the house is pack with 6 car - so i need to consider what is in ..

i also considering a Silvertop 20v no idea if it would work with a Datun stanza Violet sss GT

This is so far what i know ..

IS a 1.8 Turbo .
used on Bluebrid 910 .. and Silva ( early 1980s ) The engine is made 1982

that very much what i find been on it for the whole morning

I can't find any info on the FUEL CONSUMPTION

L16 - had a 22MPG
Z18ET - ??? MPG

so the hard task now is to find out how much fuel it drink whahahahah

sorry to trouble you'll , but you'll my cloest bet now

i just found a site, that says about 48 litres for 290km's, that's 16.5l/100kms!

is really hard to find fuel economy related info .. unless someone know or had used it before ..

the known fact now is that .
1.8 turbo 135hp @ 6000
is ued on early Silva .

fyi search for z18t and z18et , theres mixed resposes on there whether their a good choice or not.

but so far i got two feedback - One is
6km per Litre
second is _ if you work the engine hard enough - is better you buy a V8

he IS trying to sell it, for a reason.....

it's an old old engine with a turbo....

A friend of mine used to have a car with one, it certainly went nicely. He never mentioned lousy fuel economy though..
