Hey guys, as some of you mite know i have a 4age 16v in my ke25, at the moment i have gone turbo and working out a few things. I also upgraded to 4agze injectors and it has a distributor and coil setup. I have been trying to work out this wiring situation. So at the moment i just decided to put my old 4age 16v loom in and get it running on the stock computer. I know it is gonna be rough as hell but it would be good to see if it starts. My quesitons are:
1) If it does run, would i be able to get a 4agze computer and plug that in straight away and run that? Or are the pins different for the different computer?
2) If not, could i get a 4agze loom and computer then use that to run my engine?
3) Would i have to switch to coil packs and ignitors if i run a 4agze loom and computer??
Thanks guys,
Michael

considering there are a few varients on the 4age mangement, you would have to be careful as to which ECU and loom you were to run.
things such as......
- MAP vs AFM
- Injector plugs
- ECU plugs
- CAS
- DLi ignition
are just a few things to think about. i would try to source a GZE loom and ECU. i think you will find that the GZE ECU will handle forced indiction alot better than the atmo ECU. although i think that the atmo ECU MAY be able to handle a small amount of boost.
depending on the model loom that you get, you may be able to retain your dizzy. i think there was a model GZE that had a dizzy from factory

yeah. you will need the crank angle sensor if you intend to use the dual coil setup
