    Default 1ZZ into RWD?

has any one heard or seen people did it successfully, converting 1zz into rwd format. I've seen people bolted w58 straight onto 1zz using w58 bell housing but not many info from there on. Any thoughts?

It's been done plenty of times in Super Se7en clones.
Might be a bit harder to do in a regular car though.

    What's a W58 Bellhousing?

There's W5# to R Series Engine, W5# to M Series Engine, W5# to G Series Engine, W5# to Y Series Engine, etc, an they all differ.

Not aware of any factory RWD bellhousing options - all the ones I've come across are custom like the adapter I made for this setup.
Also needs improvised engine mounts as there is no provision for mounting points on the side of the block.

From the pic, I think the bellhousing is a factory toyota item, but there's an adapter in between the block and bell.

Correct, it's a J160 integrated bell housing / case mated with a chunk of an alloy plate.

Here's a clearer picture of the adapter.
