1g-gte top overhual gasket/seal kit

Hello,

I have seen a few threads about full gasket kits for the 1g-gte, and from what I have read prices are around 400 - 500.

How much would these be from Toyota, and would they include valve seals and head gasket too?

that is the price roughly from toyota and yes valve stem seals and head gasket are included, there are a shit load of gaskets o rings copper washes ect, in the kit youd be surprised, if youre rebuilding a motor a very worth while investment in my opinion

Im not rebuilding the whole motor as such, but I'm going to take the head off myself and fix some problems such as the valve stem seals that seem to be a problem.

I want to get it the cheapest price as possible, my question is will every dealer quote me the same price since it all comes from Toyota, or will I get better prices if I ask around?

See if you can get a price on parts through a company that deals with ACL.
