Hey Guys just about to hook up my water to air setup on my aw11 mr2, just wondering wat sort of temps the water in the system would get to as i want to add a temp guage to it but all the ones i can find seem to start at 37 degrees C and max at like 150 degress, just thinking this might be a of a bit of a bad range and might not even register...
Cheers Shane

My air temp sits in the low 30's and i think the water temp is about 10deg hotter. Back in march we had a 40 deg day and the water temp was 50 deg. I have one of those CPC radiator caps with a temp gauge in it. I have a 1GGTE but i cant see the MR2 being a lot differant. Hope this helps.
Look for an Outside Temp Gauge / Ambient Temp Gauge. VDO make them but are usually for colder climates so the gauge peaks at around 40°C. Cyberdyne also make digital ones that read up to 70°C but you pay the price for them too. Alternatively you can get yourself a simple digital thermometer used for measuring the temperature of swimming pool water. We used have a couple years ago, they had a remote probe and they worked up to the 60°C+ water we got from the solar heater.
