    I found this referenced on msextra.com and thought it might be of use to folks home tuning with wideband guages.

    What does the "Dead" area in boost < 2000RPM region mean?
    Surely supercharged engines operate in that range...

    i think dead = not likely to be running.

    not sure why they use it - is aimed at tuning for turbos.
