you can either pull them off or there might be a small screw under them ,so you will need a phillips screw driver

I am pretty sure they are just a press fit over the stalk. You should be able to pull them and they will slide off. I have had other cars that worked this way. Though someone who's pulled apart a Celica should really confirm it.

    hope this helps.
They call them fingers.... but i've never seen them fing!!!!

ALL the ra23 ones I've ever seen (and I've seen too many to want to remember) were all Pull type.

No Screws, just an annoying little clip...

Just pull them off, they can be a real bitch sometimes, but make sure you don't loos the little clip that sits inside of them otherwise, even with the use of superglue, they wont go back on...

They were definately the push on type on my '23, you have to pull f*****n hard sometimes though

Definitely no screws... they might be tight, so add some Inox if they are.

    I may be wrong, but...
They look like the ones on my ma61, the metal you see running around them is part of a spring and ball arrangement that holds them on.
They just pulled off, but I imagine if the ball became lost they wouldn't go back on too easy.
