Hello Toymodders,
I wish to find out what is the max positive offset I can fit in a 1990 wide body celica GT4?
I need a spare wheel that will fit both frontand back. I am not technically minded on how these things are measured so if anybody has this information please relay some to me. I would very much appreciate it.

Why would you want to increase the positive offset? That would move the wheels further towards the centre of the car.
I presume you want to reduce the positive offset, meaning giving the car a wider stance??
If so, the widebody GT4 can fit +15 easily in the rear, but the front you can only go to around +25 or else it sticks out of the car.
This is presuming a ~7" wide wheel. If you go wider, you'll have to recalc your offset again.
EDIT: Hmm, on re-reading, are you looking for a generic 5x100 wheel that you can keep as a spare? If so, then any Subaru/Camry 15" wheel will physically fit. 14" does not fit over the brakes on the Aus Spec car.
Thanks for the reply Spectral,
There's a wheel for sale on ebay and I want to use this for a spare and the specs of this wheel is as you know it's a 5 x 100 , 18" with a positive offset of 50. I want to know if this would fit the guards back and front of my car as this would be cheaper than the wheels I have bought. I don't the width of the wheels currently it has 18 x 225 x 40 but it can accomodate 235's. I would be nice to have a wider stance but it is only for a spare and right now if I get a flat, I won't be going anywhere as I don't don't have a spare.
