No Power Steer

hey guys,

Just picked my car up from tuner. It had been getting a turbo kit put on etc, but took the motor out to do it, so we can change all gaskets etc easier...

Everything is back in, except power steering is not working now. I know with SW20, that after 60km it turns off, could there be a plug loose? I havent even checked for fluid yet, but will do.

dont have a belt
the sw20 is electric powersteer.
its all in the front
electric motor drives the pump

is the powersteer relay plugged in?

yeah gotta check it all. The Relay is a common issue and turning the car on & off a few times usually fixes it, so i have read.

that issue throws on the check light though.

relay or wiring, apparently the PS light is supposed to go on when you switch the key to on position..

Mine never has, nor has the ABS they have been removed

MR2 is light anyway! and you got small lightweight wheels! lol

Tell you a funny story? The left front tyre was flat, and id just put semis on...pumped it up and voila ps is back bwhahaha!
