Just getting my car ready for some upcoming track work I have planned.
Just wondering if anyone on here has successfully fitted a Takata 3" harness using a Recaro SR3? I have a lovelly Takata harness here now, but I'm having some issues getting the adjustment latches through the plastic loops at the top of the seat.
To be honest looking at it now, it looks like the SR3 is really suited for 2" harnesses, but I got a 3" one because it's supposed to spread the load better understrain and didn't realise these latches would be so massive.
I hope I'm an idiot and there's something I'm missing, but you can't unthread these latches and re-attach, so I either need to get quite forceful, or look for a 2" harness....
Any ideas, suggestions....I may just see how bendy plastic is in the morning as it's too dark out to give it a go now.

OK officially declaring myself an idiot. After a long day at work, the brain just wasn't engaging....
I'll post up here for the benefit of those who may be installing a harness at 3am in the morning and feeling a little braindead...
Latches don't fit through flat, so turn the latch sideways like pushing a key into a lock and then pull the rest of the harness through. Easy....
Oh well, will finish the rest of the install tomorrow.
