have a look at my ignition systems thread in the FAQ for a starting point...
Basically you want the Ne signal and the G1 signal from the stock dissy. Look in the Autoshop101 link in that thread, it explains how to work out which sensor is which....
Can someone with an ltx12s or similar on a 1g gte be able to give me some help with wiring up the cam angle sensor. Cheers.

...... butt scratcher?!
Im using direct fire, can i go straight off the dizzy, or do i have to use the stock igniter?
i have a feeling its because of the shared ground in the dizzy perhaps?
you will use one sensor fo the home ie 24 teeth and the other as sink should be 6 or 1 teeth.
shared earth is fine as i do this all the time .
if it has one tooth it will have have two sensors so use the no1 tdc sensor
make sure you wire the neg together on the comp
cant use direct fire on the 6 tooth as it doesnt know where no1 tdc is to start the firing seq
Cheers ill give that a try, if anyone else has any ideas that would be great.
Nup... what linden said is spot on.
...... butt scratcher?!
what no rep
Linden
sound like you want to wire up a ra40 for someone

Don't argue with an IDIOT.He will bring you down to his level and then beat you with experience!
btw if yours is a 6 tooth just figure out which tooth lines up at no1 tdc and die grind off the other five making sure that the rest of the surface is smooth otherwise you may get false triggering. ie detonation inducing =bad
if the car ever gets here i might have a stab
Thats harsh do you have a good towie I can use my mate is too busy

Is there any possibility of grabbing colours? Just to make sure nothing is missing or wrong.
much safer to open up the dizzi and carefully/closely look at the wires going into the back of the sensors.
What are the 4 wire colours on your CAS 1gjet? White, Red, Yellow and Green?
if so:
White = ground/earth (common to both pickups)
Red = trigger
Green = home
Yellow = home + 180 degrees (do not use)
Cheers
Phil
BTW: don't look at the colours in the main loom after the CAS plug, look at the wires going into the CAS itself

thanks mate. im the one working on his car for him. we figuered the wiring out, but found out why it was hard to get it to fire right..... because the 2nd and 3rd injectors wern't firing.
so i thought i might put it out to anyone doing a microtech to 1ggte in direct fire....
the microtech CAS loom -
Red on the CAS -> Red on the microtech (rpm pick up)
Blue -> White (shared grounds).
Green -> Green (home)
in other words it is the same as the microtech website suggests for the 2jz.
hope that helps anyone in the same position as 1gjet and myself where. thnx
p.s. if anything there is a lil off or you can think of anything else that would be great
