1jz twin turbo and a boost controller?

well just bought a manual boost controller and wondering if the twin turbo steup has 2 wastegate actuators if so how do i setup the boost contoller

Yes it has two wastegate actuators. Just use a T piece to join them both and connect to the boost controller.

Yes.

You can T the boost reference from the turbos, or use one and block the other.

And T the wastegate actuator lines into the output from the boost controller.

Dude please post pics of your setup during installation and once installed as I will be doing this very shortly and don't want to fuck it up.

What sort of boost controller did you get? I hope it's not a bleed valve? I'm going to try out one of the turbotech ball bearing valve controllers off ebay as they seem to be all the rage at the moment and for less than $40 you can't go wrong!

Care to elaborate boys? I've read that they can be very sensitive to adjust? Did you find that it brought boost on faster?

Yes very sensitive to adjust, & yes boost does come on quicker. It seems though that best results are achieved with bigger adjustments, ie. trying to get only a couple of psi increase is very hard to do, whereas a good 5-6psi is much easier. FCD for great success.

Bah, not my fault you only wanted to increase boost by a gnats dick!

While tuning my Jaycar DFA on the dyno boost suddenly started wavering up & down a few pounds, & this was fixed by stretching the spring in the boost controller. Prolly not necessary if you're too scared that too much boost will cause you to lose control of bowel function.

not a bleed valve its one of the ball bearing turbotech ones and yeah when i get around to putting it in i will post a pic for u

Sounds good, now that I know you have a turbtech as well I will be very interested in hearing how the car drives with this fitted.

I take it this is going into the JZZ20? If so what mods has it already got and how much psi you running now? How much do you want to increase it by?

yeha mate jzz20, so far got FMIC, BOV, air filter, and bigger dump pipes and thats about it running 11psi at the moment wanna run it at about 12-13psi maybe

just went and check where to install it and i got tubes going everywhere becuase of the bov um looks like the go might be to block off one of the actuators and just use the one. any probleams with that?

errr yes...one of the wastegates wont open and your turbo will go pop due to overboosting
