ra23, window chrome or no window chrome

hey guys
the window chrome on me celica doesnt fit to well and was thinking of glueing it down, then somebloke told me they let water in past the seal, oh maybe someone will want to buy it if i leave it out,

Which window chrome are you talking about mate? The ones that go around the front or rear windscreens? the ones that sit along the tops of the doors? if it s the ones that sit along the tops of the doors make sure that its clean and flat underneath where its supposed to sit,also check that you havent got a couple of rusted bolts where it screws in as its easy to miss if they have flattened out a bit.

Put them on. I know someone who doesn't have them on his 22 and it looks shithouse!

I haven't got any around my side windows on my 22 it looks ok and few people have said they really like it but i'm gunna put it on soon.

Don'tmess with Toyota's 70's styling. Leave the chrome trim on, its meant to be there.
If you take it off, you may as well take off the front right fender as well, i've heard they look better without them.
