my fueltank started leaking today.
i took it out to find that it has previously been repaired and it is leaking just above where it was prev fixed. (top of the fuel tank)
does anyone know what i can do to fix it?
do i need a new one? if so, where can i get one in melbourne?
a non efi tank should be relatively easy to get a hold of, ask atound the Vic spares places
CVAP is a toymods sponsor, hit them up!
that said get a qualified welder to fix the tank up, that way they wont blow themselves up when they do the job properly![]()

you could use liquid steel, that shit is strong and will fix it no worries. get it from loctite, its in two tubes you mix it together and it hardens over a period of time. ive used it on timing cases so a fuel tank will be no trouble.
Yep, loctite's "quick-steel". that is some good stuffOriginally Posted by EVOSTi
loctite also have a specific radiator/fuel tank repair patch.dont know how good that is though.
