Hi
I'm doing a 4age smallport conversion in my ae86 and I have no clue about the wiring.
I brought a smashed ae92 corolla sx, i've taken the motor out along with any wires attached to it also took the ecu out.
Was just wondering would I need any other wires from the ae92? Theres a cable that was connect to the ecu and travels all the way to the fuse box next drivers side inside, do I need that cable? Looks like a bitch to take out.
Also when I took my ecu out theres a sticker on that back that says "Fueltronics EFI performance chips" Anyone got any info on this?
Sorry for the such noob question, Any help will be most appreciated.
Cheers

well you will need the complete loom outta the SX. and the ecu.
- the igniter will also be required
- the 02 sensor
you will have to wire the alternator into the car loom also.
the SX might have been replaced at some time by that company, i dont think you can re-chip the ecu so i doubt it an upgraded ecu.
id get a wiring diagram from the net and check out what that uses to put it into an ae86, then you will know the extra wiring required to make it run.
