Toymods Tas Cruise May 16

Hi all
So in association with Toymods.net we are holding this years first Toyota only cruise

On May 16th

Plan is to meet in cambletown In the carpark behind the Big log at 12pm

Hobartians Meet 10.15am hunter street for 10.30am departure.

Launnie people meet 10.45am Bathurst Carpark For 11.00am departure

North west meet at 10.15am "The Bluff" for 10.30am departure

once all in cambletown will stoip for food and chat, photos etc then when time is right
head home.

Hobart ppl we may return via east coast if there is interest.

Northoners maye return via scottsdale again if interested


Toyotas only please unless your only ride at that time in something else..

My only concern would be to say that that carpark (in Campbelltown) isn't very big, and its noramlly full of tourist taking a piss at the best of times. You've got the potential with all area invited to have heaps of cars there so maybe you should look at a bigger meeting area.

My suggestion would be to ring the Campbelltown council and see if they have any objections to having the meet up at the footy oval a couple of hundred metres north. Probably won't care but might pay to ask. Only other issue with that is weather there would be a local footy game on, but council could probably tell you that too. wink.gif

ok so since we have moved from one thread about a cruise to another one ill go again.

my mobs is 0439301656.

also if the car park is full there is always that big grassy area on the hobart side of the bridge there, its next to the river and i think its just on the turnoff to the east coast i think, We stopped there on a ozcelica cruise many many moons ago and there is oodles of room.

this place... thats looking back toward launnie with the river where the trees are.

Quick question can anyone get or is a good photographer?
Im thinking of writing a article for HPI or a similar mag and will need some top notch photo's.

right so i talked to a professional photographer i know.
she said around 150-200.

so around $11-$15 each. (depending on numbers of course) if we went down that that route, unless someone knows someone who will do it for free.

Ive got a fairly good digi-cam..... 10mega pixel, tripod etc. Use it for chaceing motorsport around. big advantage with 10mgp is that you can crop the photo down and zoom without loosing detail.... was planing to bring it anyway.....

and if there will be photos, ive got work to do..... polish, clean up engine bay, paint various places on car ...... shit

Anyways I be taking either the Rolla or Cressi, Mark 2 no longer rego'd and has gone into hibernation
