Forums Hacked? Adult friend finder redirect...

Hi All,

Just wanted to let you know there may be some malicious re-direct somewhere on your server(unless the forums have a new sponsor I don't know about?).

Tried to open a thread directly from google search and was redirected to adult friend finder and a nice lady with her top off staring back at me, rather than the car porn I came here looking for. Ordinarily I wouldn't mind seeing a nice pair however with the missus sitting next to me (and her predictable response), it was a less than enjoyable experience...

this is a known issue with many forums at the moment. i have kicked it over to IT a few times now so hopefully they will get their arses into gear soon and fix it (hello Dan! ) it isnt anything super dangerous or whatever as long as you dont click on the links etc in the spam page. also fyi if you go back and click the link again it should not happen again. the exploit only works if you are visiting the page from a google or other "outside" link. and only works once per user per day, apparently.

anyways yes just telling you guys we have seen it and are working on it.

yep. has been around for a while. happens on a couple of sites i visit, i dont get pr0n i get myfilestore. boobs are ok with me, although the NSFW worries me somewhat as I know its logged on the mcafee
