Hey mate, im just finishing my 4age into ta23 conversion doing everything by myself.
1. i bought custom engine mounts that bolt to the standard crossmember and 4age.
they are fairly easy to make by yourself with a little know how, theres a forum with full details how to make them here some where.
2.The sprinter t50 is 22 splines eg the number of teeth on the output shaft of the gearbox,
the ta22 should be a 20 spline i think.
I had a new custom shaft made up for mine for about $300 i think from a guy in newcastle. cheapest i found gave him the old shaft to work off and the new length i needed. easy.
you might have to look at upgrading your brakes for engineering.
you will need from memory:
new rad, hoses to suit.
modify wiring to suit original harness, ecu.
legal air induction.
modify or new exhaust as you will need a cat to meet emissions.
modify or new tailshaft.
modify or make engine mounts
i think you can move your gearbox crossmember on the ta22 to suit the ta22, cut hole for shifter mabye.
mount coil, relay, misc items for 4age.
it takes time and a little bit of stuffing around. tha ta22 have a smaller engine bay so it will be a tight fit.
cheers
