Melways Map Reference for Calder Park is 354 K4
Hope to see you there!!
Good afternoon everyone,
The Classic Celica Club of Victoria are having a meet/cruise on the 11th of Feb 2007. We are planning on meeting at Calder Park Raceway @ 8.30am and make our way to the "Picnic at Hanging Rock".
Entry per vehicle is $20 and gates open @ 8am. We are planning to meet at Calder Park where a complimentry breakfast for participants is being provided. We'd love to see as many Celicas on the day to represent the club at this great event. The drive from Calder to Hanging Rock is approximately 45mins. We plan to be at Hanging Rock no later than 10am so everyone can get a good spot and we get in with plenty of time to spare!
Parking is tight so if you dont arrive as a group you may be on your lonesome, remembering there are approx. 2500 vehicles on display. This is a top day out and once you've been you'll want to go again. Dont worry how your ride looks just bring it, there are plenty of cars 'under restoration' on display as well.

Check out our forums for discussions and more details - we'd love as many people to come along as possible to fly the flag for the CCCV!

Dude.... 8:30am on a sunday?... Best of luck.
interested....
fingers crossed for this one.
hope the car will be all set by then
Unfortunately we've got to be at Hanging Rock early to get in, otherwise we'll be in the var park for hours. I know it's not ideal... but I guess it beats sitting in the car idling outside for too long.Originally Posted by stradlater

If people can get to Winton Raceway at 8am on a Sunday for scrutineering (and believe me the Pits are nearly full by then)........ then you can get to Calder by 8:30am. And Wintons a bit further from Melbourne too.......Originally Posted by stradlater

Hey Ed, Some guy pulled up beside me tonight asking if i know you... then he said he likes my car. Think he lives near you, and went to school with you, or something like that.
Confused the hell outta me when his first words were... " do you know Ed *insert you last name here*" As i've got no idea what ur last name is!!!
Oh, and the reason for this post is that I would love to come for the drive
Sounds like we'll have a good showing!
