A early morning drive down souh of Brisbane towards Beaudesert stopping at Macleans Bridge Historic Car show (run by the Triumph Car Club Qld).

update: Have to be at the site at 8:00am to be part of a club display.

Last year a small group of us stopped off at the show when on the way up to Queen Mary Falls - and ended up spending most of the morning gawking at automotive memorabilia ranging from ancient vintage cars to replica GT40s and beyond from american iron to euro-trash. Great stuff to look at - and much of it driven regularly.

note: if you want to display your car, it's $10 per car (which includes passengers) - but if you're just there to gawk, you'll have to find parking nearby and walk in and at the gate they ask for a gold coin donation.
