Well its time to go for BROKE

This was an awsome cruise last year.


Meetting Spot: Old Toll Gates at the start of Old Pac (see next page for pic)
Time: 10:30 for a 11am leave
Destination: Broke

Route details: We'll head north from Thornleigh, onto the F3, jump off at Peats Ridge and head for Wollombi, from there continue on for Broke. We'll go through Broke and stop at Cock Fighter Creek Tavern for Lunch (The tavern is 25ish km south of Singleton). From lunch its a barrell back down south along the Putty road.

Warning: We will be travelling on 600m of hard packed dirt/gravel. I see no problems with this. It had a firm surface and there wasn't much gravel. If travelled at the right speed we will be fine. Its also in a road work area so speed limit is 40kph (so you don't have to worry about a 4WD coming through at 80 and spraying you). I won't have any issues running my 18's on the Crown. The rest of the roads are fine with no more harsher bumps than the National park.

As I said some of scenary and roads were awsome I think this will be a cruise not to be missed,

Was a good one last year. But be warned at broke the servo only has 95 Ron fuel so bring a bottlenof octane booster as I jnearly ran out last year in the aw11.

Hi Guys,
This was a great cruise last year and I hope to make it this time as well... However......We will need to re-think the lunch stop.

I drove past the Cockfighter Creek Tavern at Bulga on Sunday 16 May 10 at about lunchtime and it was CLOSED with a for sale sign up.

The Newcastle guys should be able to help with organising an alternate lunch stop. Let me know if I can help.
