    Wink KKR Aluminium bends

Hi Guys, i've got some more products i think you will like.

    Offical Release

New to Otomoto Pty Ltd are these chromed aluminium mandrel bends. Ideal for use in intercooler kits and mounting pod air filters, they are available in both 2.5in (63mm) and 3in (76mm) diameters and are constructed from mandrel bends, all featuring ribbed ends.

They are also thick enough to be easily cut and welded as needed.

There are four types of aluminium pipe available with the straight sections retailing for $20.00, 45 and 90-degree bends retailing for $25.00 and the 180-degree bend retails for $30.00. Both diameters are the same price.

Then welding them would probably be a really nasty proposition..

TIGs don't like coated materiel in my experience.

True, but it can be done and rechromed.

Available soon (mid February) will be raw aluminium finish so the bends can be cut and welded then polished.

    Cheers

Whats the overall width of the 180deg bend?

I've yet to measure the one on my car, but its not tight enough and fouls.

2" and 2.75" also? come on then my life would be easy.

you can take the coating off with a linisher and weld it as i have done it many times b4 but it does take some getting use to as the impurities come through whilst welding.

let me know when the raw stuff comes in and ill be there in a flash.

    cheers

2.75" is most toyota and nissan TB size, demand would be pretty high if you were to put kits together for you coolers to suit a variety of cars.
2" is the majority of t25 size turbos so should be plenty of uses for them also

see what you can do and let me know.

    cheers
