    Default Toyota Surf/Hilux RN106 radiators. $300

    Hey all,

One of my distributors asked me to get a whole heap of these in for them and they have since gone belly up and I am now stuck with the stock

They are all fully polished, 52mm twin core and standard 2 year warranty. Both petrol and diesel available.

$300 pick up but we can work out cheap postage if need be.

You should be able to smash out the diesel ones of these, seeing teh surf's have inherent overheating issues, partly due to the radiator supposedly not coping with our weather..

    Maybe try toyotasurf.asn.au?

Yeah that is a **** of a site to try and sign up to.,I wanted to throw my comp at the wall after a number of failed attempts to register. I have sent an email to admin and hopefully they will fix the problem.

    Are they only for RN106?

Would they fit in a RN85?

    Would these fit a KZN130 Surf? (3.0L T/D Version)

I'm not sure if the outlets are in different locations compared to the 2.4...

Do these have a built in trans cooler? As I have a manual I'd prefer one without.

    Core dimensions:
    Height 530mm
    Width 425mm
    52mm thick dual core

These are the exact same as LN106-LN111

But they are also the same dimensions as LN147R,RZN149R,LN103,RN-89-92,and isnt far off LN50,LN65 and 4 Runner V6/VZV130 Surf.

I have a number here with only the bottom outlet welded on that can be patched and moved or outlets put on to suit any location as he wanted to cover a couple of different models.
from my understanding the RN85 rads can be cooled with th TA23/RA28 Rads I make.

Hmm, wondering if I should get one for the LN106 before I make the trek to Brissy in April. The current radiator doesn't leak, but the copper fins are rotting away and there are minor cracks which have been repaired with some stop leak. BTW, no cooling issues on my truck (ute, not surf, no A/C).

Will think about it and get back to you, steering is more important.

Also, try www.e-go.com.au for freight prices.

Must say, great radiator especially for the price. Only advice to a potential purchaser, when you do up the nut which holds the metal lower radiator hose on, be gentle. The aluminium stud will shear easily (going to drill out mine and replace with a bolt/nut).

I ended up selling my ute, but I can say that even with only half an engine of coolant, driving 110kph with a full load on wasn't enough to get the truck hot! Despite going from 10L/100k to over 14L/100k due to the added wind drag/load on engine.

These radiators are teh awesomeness, and at this price are a super bargain. Get em while they're hot!!
