how many of these do u have left?
i think we have talked about this before, what sort of power do u think these will cool?
ive got a 50mm thick, 430x670 but im not convinced its gonna fit in a 70
used to have trouble keeping it cold with an old copper rad and the front mount in front. took some work but i got it to stabilise, think that rad was about halfway between my new one and a standard one.

can you provide the rad with the core and tanks, but without the inlet and outlet fitted, so we can fit it where we need it, coz i dont have an engine in a car at the moment...

    and how much?

    cheers, andy
it may not seem like it but i appreciate all the help you guys give!

It should be the same one thats in Blakes celica, I fitted the same one to my Hilux and the only mod i made was to put a 90* on the top tank due to space constraints, the 1uz should have abit more room in that area though.

Yeah thats how we usually do them but I have had a heap of people ask me to put the inlet/outlets both on the top tank

Andy I can supply you with the rad without outlets on it. The only problems I have had with any of my rads is Cuzzos 4a and shanes 4a getting hot doing burnouts and slow speed high rev situations like skid pans etc, which im pretty sure can be attributed to the outlets being on the same side and the coolant taking the quickest road out of the radiator. If you end up needing them inline with each other we can make you one with an internal cross over pipe instead.

I have some cores coming over in 5 weeks and can tack on one to suit the KE if you like, without outlets your looking at $450 plus shipping.

    cheers

ill have a chat to my useless lazy mechanic and see what he thinks, whether to cut the front out and fit the big bastard, or if we will fit this rad with the motor in, im worried about it sitting too close to the front, as it does step forward a little bit.

ill try remember to get back to you, if you dont hear from me and your looking at finalising the order just harass me and ill let you know.

Just put a baffle in the middle of the tank between the fittings, usually with a small hole to allow air to purge between the to sides.Just like a vl 6cyl as it a factory 2 pass/fitting on the same end.
