The Toymods Forum is a Members Only Forum.

Membership into the forums is free and required to be able to post in any section. All members of this forum must abide by the forum rules. If these rules are broken you will be placed on probation for 2 months, further breaches of the rules will result in banning. The length of time will be determined by the board of Toymods Car Club. Your user profile may be edited for content at any time by the Toymods Forum moderator team or the administration team.

Toymods Forum Sponsors – Commercial sales

The only commercial sales allowed on the Toymods Forum are those done by Toymods Forum sponsors. This sponsorship gains the sponsor a banner ad at the top of the page, a listing on the sponsors page and the privilege to post 4 commercial for sale threads per month. Forum sponsors are permitted to reply to any relevant threads in parts wanted as well as any other section of the forum. Personal Sales Posting

We allow individuals to post their own personal items for sale on the Toymods Forum. Selling multiples of items or selling of brand new goods will be seen as commercial sales and will be removed by the moderators. You may only post these items in the appropriate forums.

The Toymods Board must be contacted for approval of any proposed group buys before they are posted on the Toymods Forum. We strongly encourage using sponsors of Toymods Car Club when organizing group buys.

Abuse of the classified section of the Toymods forum is not appreciated this is a service offered by the Toymods Car Club to allow our members to easily sell and buy Toyota parts. The classified section of the Toymods forum is not provided simply to give anyone who wants it a free classified service. This behavior is grounds for probation and if necessary banning.

Toymods Car Club

The Toymods Car Club is an incorporated club in NSW Australia. The Toymods Forum is a service offered by the Toymods Car Club to benefit our club members and to promote the greater Toyota Community. The elected Board of the Toymods Car Club reserve the right to make decisions about the Toymods Forum in accordance with this aim as they see fit.

The Toymods Car Club, host, Administrators, and Moderators are not responsible for any information on The Toymods Forum that cause you harm, your vehicle harm, or anyone else any harm. You use all information gathered on The Toymods Forum at your own risk. Please use discretion in your use of information gathered from any source but in particular internet forums. Research the people you are getting the information from and see if the person appears to have merit in the topic the information is on. The same rules apply to making purchases and sales on the Toymods Forum.

PRIVACY RULES:

You may not collect any email addresses from this web site to use to promote other web sites. We will NEVER sell or give away any email personal information, email address or IP address, unless requested by law enforcement

THE BIG RULES:

Violation of these rules can be grounds for IMMEDIATE banning of your account

No spaming the forums. Commercial messages may be removed at the discretion of either a forum moderator or administrators. Group buy topics must be approved by the Toymods Car Club board before posting and must be posted in the relevant area. Wanted threads belong in the parts wanted section, if wanted threads are posted in the for sale sections they will be deleted. Commercial advertising in your signature is not allowed.

No flaming of other members to incite or perpetuate a conflict or argument. Any personal attacks or name calling will get you on probation, if not banned.

Making pointless posts in order to push up your post count is not acceptable.

No linking or posting of pornographic or objectionable material.

Do not impersonate other individuals or falsely represent yourself.

Do not discuss, suggest, engage, or encourage any illegal activity on the forums. Do not place Toymods Car Club in the position of being perceived as condoning any illegal activity. This includes breaking of traffic laws.

Posting under secondary usernames or alias user names other than your main account for the purpose of arguing, degrading or belittling other readers is grounds for having your posting privileges revoked. Having more than one account is grounds for immediate banning.

You must have a valid e-mail account in your profile so you can be reached by a forum moderator or administrator.

THE LITTLE RULES:

These are here to help you (and others) have an enjoyable experience here. Violation of these rules is grounds for a warning and/or a suspension.

No slanderous or libel threads. Toymods Car Club will not tolerate threads that are slanderous or make claims that could be considered libel against businesses or other people.

No signatures with more than 5 lines of text total at a resolution of 1024x768

No swearing in subject lines or signatures. There are other ways to express yourself than with profanity and it looks far more respectable.

No animated gif avatars are allowed. No pornographic or offensive avatars will be allowed.

Respect the forum administrators and moderators, without their work you would not have a forum to use and enjoy. Questions about the forums or moderation should be either directed to the board [email protected] or through the “Toymods Membership and Feedback” section of the forum.

No SHOUTING. Don't use all caps when posting. It is difficult to read and annoying.

No 1337 sp34k, or SMS style abbreviations, basically use English in your posts.

Make your posts in the most appropriate section of the forum.

No cross-posting. There is no need to post the same thing in multiple sections of the forum.

Restrict the use of swearing to as little as possible.

Do not post any pirated material or links to where you can get said material on the Toymods Forum.

Anti-Police threads will be locked and or deleted. There is no need to try and get our chosen hobby a worse name in the eyes of the law.

If you are the recipient of a personal attack or are offended by the content of a post please do not reply in kind, “he started it” is not a valid defense. In this situation please report the post to the moderators using the “report message to moderator” link in the post. A moderator will then review the post and make a decision on what action if any is to be taken.

Abbreviated Version:

Don’t act like a tool.

Don’t make unapproved commercial sales.

Try to make your posts a worthwhile contribution to the forum and the Toyota Community.

Treat other users, moderators and administrators with the respect you would like to be treated with.

All posts are the property and responsibility of the poster, the forum moderators and administrators have no obligation to monitor any posts, however Toymods reserves the right to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information and/or materials (in whole or in part) that in its discretion considers objectionable or in violation of any applicable law or the Conditions of Use.

The Toymods Board reserves the right to modify these rules when necessary.
