Default why/how are bots joining toymods?

i thought the application process was done manually so this can not happen?

    what has changed?

do you need some help runnign the forums?

i noticed also that emails are not replied to when sent to theboard@toymods.org (or whatever the email link is)

Lonny was pure pimp. He was skinny and nervous. He couldn't sit still and he couldn't shut up. As he talked, he moved his thin hands which were covered on the backs with long, greasy, black hairs. You could tell by looking at him that he had a big penis. Pimps always do.

Belive me... it's still done manually. Not sure how this would be happening. But feel free to point them out, and we'll check out the account and delete it, if they are infact bogus.

As for the email address... at present, we've all got a bit on, but I think most have been addressed. Maybe some messages haven't been getting through..?

Help is always great, but we'd really like it in the way of additional board members, therefore we really need to rely on people from NSW to step up. Thanx for the offer though

If this user above was processed manually, how on earth did it get approved???

I was beggining to think you guys ahd stopped doing manual approvals.

Thats a fairly obvious bot username

yup... was a dogey sign up. Have now deleted that user name. Thanx

Just human error, I would assume. Ticking the wrong line. Being a manual process (and sometimes going through 100 or so approvals at a time), there is that slight chance we'll miss one, or tick off the wrong line

So if you guys ever pick up on one, please let us know.

I really want to get my hands on one of those white toymods stickers but since the membership is 50 dollars I simply can't afford that kind of money considering I am a senior year high school student with little money it takes me 2 weeks only working on weekends to earn 50 dollars from over 6 hours work. Could you buy any chance let me buy one off you for $5 or 10 dollars plus postage? you can buy the stickers seperate off TheStitt you can msg him from here http://www.toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=259

Not sure if that counts as bot, but the start of the PM looks auto generated.

i don't think you are the only person to get that message... actually i am sure of it.

perhaps board should enquire as to the reason for any extra sticker purchases in near future...

Yeah, my response was along the lines of that there was a reason you had to be a member, and it's taken me 2 years to not get the sticker which was mean to come with my initial membership. Though I think the LN106 and RA23 could both use stickers, as the RA28 is going to get the membership sticker (have to remove the existing one to either replace the hatch glass, or polish it)
