people find stuff that can assist so many people.... yet its illegal to post about it if its not yours, theres always those that say "well toymods isnt for free advertising" but really sometimes it can make someones day...

The issue here is, if you let one through everyone wants to do it, so it is either all or nothing. In the case of the forum rules nothing.

The reason being, if you cannot answer the random questions that forum members ask, post photos etc. then forum users get narky.

There is a Cars Wanted section, that if someone is asking if anyone is selling a *blah* then you could post it there. generally anyone else that is looking for that particular vehicle will see who is thinking of selling.

its a car from hobart ive met the owner once who is overseas atm and has dropped the price of the car 4 grand in price since it first being up forsale.

his family are no trying to sell the car for him so direct contact with the owner might not be easy but his family have taken over the sale of the car ?

I'd love for you guys to see it but dont want to get in trouble for it.

There is pretty much zero chance of the owner joining toymods

id put the car in my signature, then where ever you post even if you were to say maybe post about a car in the for sale section , it will be seen and you havent broken any rules.

i've been replying to pms, but the idea was that i didnt want to be the middle man, just link the toymods community to a unique ta22.

So this would go for cars found on ebay,carsales and the like ?

see, anyone can search ebay and carsales etc....
if someone is looking for a car, then they are probably looking there anyway...

to stop people being stuck as the middle man, and potentially thought to be responsible for a car that is not theirs but turns out shit, the rules were chosen so that Toymods forum members can sell their cars on toymods... ie, the seller IS responsible as they are selling their stuff.

putting up links for external sales sites is a bit redundant, as it is just free advertising for the seller.
sure there may be some interest, but if people are looking for a car, they will be looking on those sites already.

if you REALLY want to link some ad, why not just put it in the dedicated thread for that type of car.. since only those people will be looking in there...
