Default Website - multi quote request !

Is it just me, or is there no feature to multi quote from a thread ?

I personally feel that this may aid in reducing the number of double posts.

There is no multi quote feature at the moment.
But its not hard to work out how to easily multi quote.

All the double posts at the moment are due to the server.

nooo. a reduction in lazines is the best way to reduce the number of multiple posts in a row made by people.

    or a reduction in stupidity..

or an information campaign to educate users as to the existence of the "edit" button...

afaik, the reason it is not there, is to stop people multi quoting and then adding one liners,... ie, cluttering crap up.

if you really want to multiquote, put in the 15 seconds of effort and cut and paste

then again, some repeat multiposters (King4inarow) will never learn

Indeed, tabs just makes it sooo much easier than the good old days!

Regarding the useless one liners, I'm sure they will get what's coming to them quick enough to realise the futility of their actions

... and my suggestion is to try and diminish your and other mods workloads, so you can spend more time enjoying the site, sharing your knowledge and writing up interesting conversions guides

I don't think there is a need for it, it's pretty simple.

Just because you can draw water from the well, doesn't mean we shouldn't encourage people to have working plumbing

you're not making any sense dude..
in this case the analogy would be encouraging the idea of having a tap in every room, for those people that are too lazy to get up and walk to another room to get a drink of water.

in this case, drawing water from well, would be like having to retype the quote, rather than copy and paste...

    pure laziness.

there is a reason this forum doesn't have things like animated avatars, pictures in signatures and limits on sig content, and no multiquotes......
