Hey all so the 2tg gave up on me over the weekend so ive decided to go all out on a 3tg conversion. Its going to be a project and will probably be done over at least 12 months.
So heres there plans, tell me what you think and your own opinion. and if i should change anything. This is only really a club car that will make it to the odd winton and phillip island sprint.
BLOCK
-3t block
-Wiseco 89mm 10.5:1 pistons.
-'Eagle' light weight rods
-linished and balnced crank
-what ever brand bearings
-Fidanza alloy lightweight flywheel (4.3kg). Mated with a heavy duty clutch.
EXHAUST
-I have hyashi racing stainless ones, but they are only borrowed from a mate.
-full 2 1/2" exhaust system.
HEAD
-O/S stainless valves, 45mm inlet, 38-39mm exhaust
-port and polish ports (matchported)
-unsure of cams at the moment, but looking at stage 3 from camtech.
FUEL DELIVERY
-45mm Individual Throttle Bodies (itb's)
-have no idea on any computers as i havent researched that yet, but haltech sounds good.
ELECTRICAL
-need some advice on this one, was thinking Hyandai Exel individual coil packs.
FUEL
-98 bp ultimate.
And yes i plan on living at home till im at least 30 haha![]()
for the computer i would say haltech is the was to go easy programable system, we use haltechs in the rally car. and you get suport form them anytime.
For the coils i recomend gen 3 ls1 v8 commodore coils as these work well with haltechs.
this is just my opion/ what im going to do when i build one of these motors.

Suzuki B-King 10.2 @ 135mph
FPV GT daily SC 5L 390rwkw 11.9 @ 121mph
probably a real old thread but how is it all going? I did a hybrid back a bit came across some issues how much research have you done on it?
The worst feeling is pulling apart something, then putting it back together and finding spare bolts.
