Hey guys,
i have just bought a 7MGTE from a soarer and i plan on dumping it into my cressida. Besdies changing the wiring is there any other things i should be wary of?

Identical to the Supra 7MGTE into Cressida swap.
Sump/pickup will need to be swapped
Dipstick hole needs to be drilled.
Not sure about aircon bracket
MX83 mounts are used.
Most likely custom dump pipe needed (could be wrong)
Have a search of the Cressida forums.

EDIT - Just double checked, i didnt end up bending the tip of the dipstick.

Did you reuse the front sump dipstick or use the midrear sump dipstick?
I used a 5MGE front sump dipstick on mine (was a 5MGE front sump) and had no issues.
I didn't change the dipstick location, just marked where the oil is once freshly filled and just use it as a guide for now. Oil gets changed very regularly... Atm, i'm trying to fix a starter issue, so she aint moving.... Next time, if at all, the engine comes out i will redrill and use the front dipstick location...

what dipstick did you use? I got told the supra dipstick and cressida dipsticks were both the same (7m). And when I tried bending the dipstick, it scraped against the crank.....
If it helps anything, Ive got a 7m from a supra in my cressy, and the dipstick is in the centre of the block.
any chance i can more detailed info on the dipstick bending thing?
Do it properly and relocate the dipstick to the front where it should be.
for norby thats good advice. for me however... I care not for properly... this 7m will die. The only question is whether it be of natural causes, or by me muahahaha.
