Anyone done it?
Measurements seem to add up, I'm only doing it because I have a rebuilt 22r sitting here and a w58.
I'm mostly interested in the engine/gearbox mounts, whether there are some stock bits that will work or if it will be a cut and shut job.
This is a really far out, witty and clever signature.
putting it into an AE86 would piss off sooooo many people
gearbox you can probably assume will be modded, or at least moved back (if they have that second set of holes)
fronts... check the reverse.. what have people putting 4A into 22R engine car needed to do?the KE70 mounts are closer together than the A series ones...
failing that, a few bits of steel and welder and done![]()

Are you seriously thinking about this? The 22R is the most underrated engine in the Toyota line-up I reckon. Go for it.
Weight may be a factor if your considering some sort of activity involving corners.
Oldcorollas, it may be my lack of brain power but I can't work out what your saying after your first line.
