    1jz-gte non VVTI

    Top End Modifications:
    none

    Bottom end modifications:
    none

    Forced induction:
    HKS TA45s, .9 turbine a/r, .72 comp a/r, 62mm comp inducer, 56 trim. On Trust exhaust mani with Trust 50mm gate. 17psi used for dyno.

    Management:
    Microtech LT12s and x6 igniter, stock coils.

    Fuel used:
    Shell V-power racing plus Martini Super Boost

    Intake:
    4" K&N pod

    Exhaust:
    4" dump pipe, 3" cat, 3" exhaust, 3" straight through muffler.

    Driveline:
    shift kitted a3041LE, 8" pajero diff.

    Other info:
    Chinese FMIC, 3" cooler piping, 550cc injectors, 040 fuel pump.

    Garrett GT3076R, .82 turbine a/r, .7 comp a/r. 6 into 1 stainless 50mm runners manifold with tial 44mm gate. 23psi used for dyno.

    Management:
    Power FC with FC datalogit. Stock ignitor with HKS type-dli piggy backed, stock coils, suprastick V4 transmission management, Blitz SBC ID3 boost controller.

    Fuel used:
    Shell V-power racing

    Intake:
    4" DNA motorsport stainless steel mesh pod

    Exhaust:
    3.5" dump pipe, 3" exhaust, 3" cat, into 2x 2.5" exhausts with 2x2 mufflers.

    Driveline:
    Col Voss rebuilt and upgraded a340e auto, MV autos 3200rpm stall converter, Supra 4.11 torsen diff.

    Other info:
    DNA motorsport FMIC, 3" cooler piping, 650cc injectors, walbro fuel pump.

    1/4 mile:
    11.423@118.94mph. Weight with driver of 1720kg.

    Greddy adjustable exhaust cam gear (if that counts) on 6 degrees retard, JZA70 throttle body, internally polished factory turbo piping, restrictive factory hoses replaced with silicon units, stock cams

    Bottom end modifications:
    none

    Forced induction:
    eBay "China" CT12A steel wheel turbos (copies of the factory ones). 18psi boost, Blitz Dual SBC electronic boost controller
    Just Jap cheapie 600x300x75 intercooler, 2.5" cooler piping
    Turbosmart Dual Port BOV (factory one leaks - removed)

    Management:
    Stock ECU with HKS FCD trimmed to 4 volts (setting 8). Stock ignitor with stock coils (cracks PVC glued), NGK BKR6EIX iridium spark plugs.

    Fuel used:
    Shell V-Power (Optimax) 98 octane + 1 bottle of 'pro strength' octane booster

    Intake:
    3" intake pipe with simota pod filter (located in guard for cool air supply instead of engine bay), ram air intake

    Exhaust:
    Twin 2.5" dump pipes going down to 3" highflow cat, 3" exhaust to offset oval muffler, no rear cannon

    Driveline:
    JZX81 Chaser A341LE auto, MV autos Stage 1 shift kit, Grande LSD 3.9, standard tailshaft, standard torque converter, line pressure/kickdown cable tightened

    Other info:
    Walbro 255lph in-tank fuel pump, stock injectors (duty cycle unknown).

    1/4 mile:
    12.368 @ 111.31mph, 1.86 60 foot on Falken Azenis RT615 tyres
    1500kg on the dot, with half a tank of fuel and no driver (68kg). AC removed.

    Some type of button/puk clutch (unknown, fron Japan), Torsen 4.1 lsd

    **going on the dyno again tomorrow. Final tune (above) was done on Dyno Dynamics, tomorrow is Mainline DynoLog so will be interesting to see the difference

    Spent this afternoon on the dyno with the panelvan, ended up being more of a familiarisation session with the Microtech (i'm used to tuning with laptop controlled Haltech). Turns out the manual boost controller I have is shite, being ok for adjustments up to about 12 psi, but anything over that has a massive boost spike, as bad as 11psi over the target! Needless to say tuning with this problem was like a dog chasing its tail, so the current state of tune is pretty ordinary.

    Some indicative figures were measured, apologies though as I don't have the dyno sheets for them, will get some after the next session :-)

    8psi 191rwkw

    10psi 210rwkw

    15psi 248rwkw

    ~20psi 278rwkw *this was at only 5000rpm, as the boost tapered back sharply to 14psi at higher revs

    Shell V-power 98 octane

    MV Automatics stage 1.5 shift kitted A3040LE, 2800rpm stall, 7.5" corona diff.
