I use Edge 5W30 in the road Soarer (1JZ) and 10W30 in the race car (1JZ soarer).

Do Castrol sell the Edge range in bulk such as 20L drums? I go through a fair bit of the 10W30 and 5L packs are not quite enough to fil the sump and the oil cooelr, remote lines etc.

i know what you mean. a friend on mine has a gtr r32 + oil cooler and has the exact same problem .

i believe they might be able to supply it but you would need to setup a business account with them .

i have been using Edge 0w-40 in my BF XR6 turbo, but the website says i should use Edge 10w-60 for higher powered applications.

I prefer the thinner stuff really because a lot of the driving is very short distances, however it may be seeing +300rwkw soon enough so I'm thinking i'll need the extra protection when its pushed (not broken down - i know it is a Ford right), albeit rarely.

At what sort of power roughly do you recommend the thicker oil?

Tell someone to redesign your crappy 20L drums, you need a big set of pliers to open the cap on them
