Hi guys,
I've had a number of requests lately where the customer included a link to a diagram from ToyoDIY. There must be some IP address block for images on that site because from Japan we cannot see anything... just the list of part numbers down the left side.
If possibly (and necessary to include the diagram) could you please make a print screen and paste the image in MS Paint (or equivalent prog) and make a .jpg and send?
Thanks for your continued support!![]()

The diagrams are no longer available on this site. For reasons that are beyond our comprehension, Toyota of North America kept harrassing our ISP about them. It seems that they are really interested in quick profits from new car sales, so it is in their best interest that old cars fall apart asap.
The progress of course cannot be stopped, and the diagrams are available on numerous other websites around the world, so we feel this change will not have a significant negative impact on Toyota DIY-ers. For example google something like 78-01 ACCELERATOR LINK 78111C, and you shall find it. Contact us if you need help or have any other question on this subject.

But people are still sending me links to diagrams?
Leeroy, not long after they pulled the catalogue's off (about a month or so) they were put back up.
Amayama, i've linked directly to a pic from toyodiy below, for testing purposes....it's in .png format. can you see it?At ToyoDIY, we strongly believe in our right to repair our own vehicles. You can help by raising awareness of the issue. Details can be found at http://www.righttorepair.org
i'm sure they don't like direct linking, so i'll take it down in a day or three.....but screenshots would be best when contacting via email as it doesn't use their bandwidth.

I can't see the image in defunkt's post yet can see the stuff online myself and images i have linked externally. Sorry if I was one of the culprits, I was linking from work mainly as it blocks me from attaching images to hotmail.

Indeed! I wonder what's going on...
When I was in Japan recently I could not see any of the images (which does make things a lot easier) at all.
As soon as I got back to Australia and connected all the images loaded fine.
Some food for thought I suppose
Proxy into the site from an AU or US server should fix the problem.
