Marques in the Park 2007 & Corolla Display

This year we will also be doing the Rolla Club ACT Corolla Display again and we will be inviting members from other states as well as other clubs to come along as well.
I do not care if it is a rust bucket or a work in progress. I will have my Hill Climb car as well as my Corolla Sprinter there even if it is still a work in progress.

The Rolla Club Corolla Display is open to both members and non-members and all Corolla models as well as Corolla based cars such as the Sprinter and Holden Nova as well as imports.

The 5th annual Marques in the Park is on Sunday the 25th November 2007.

This years theme is 100 years 1000 vehicles

Event Details:
8.00 - 9.00 am Gather next to Commonwealth avenue Bridge (optional)

9.00 am - Cruise, to John Knight Park

10.00 - 3.00 Kick back and relax

Remember this event is for everybody:

Young and Old, People and Cars
Bog stock to Hot Rod
Primer to Polished
Street Cars to Street Machines
Rusty to Restored
Hacks to Show Cars
Push bikes to Drag cars

Trade Stalls and food will be at the park.

Marques in the Park has grown from 200 cars in 2003 to over 550 in 2006, this year we are hoping to get 1000 vehicles on display, showcasing over 100 years of vehicles from the Canberra region. So tell you clubs and your friends and join in the fun on the 25 November 2007.

Marques in the Park is the Spring time motoring display for the Council of ACT Motor Clubs.

Entry to Marques in the Park and the Rolla Club ACT display for you and your car is FREE.
If you wish to have your car in the display you need to send an email to rollaclubact@yahoo.com.au before the 14th October.
All cars must be in place by 10am on the day.

Hope the Rolla S&S event goes well for you. The CCG will be there again this year as we have had a brilliant turn out for previous years (about 20 cars). We have been promised our same spot as the last few years so if your interested you may want to have your display next to ours if you want the company. I dont want to cut across your event so no probs if you would rather just have your event away from our Celica display.

Anyway, we will post our own advice here seperately for the CCG gang and will advise the Corolla guys in our club to contact you so they can join in on the S&S.

I was just about to ask if the CCG had been invited back this year, but you're just too quick, Mitch! Can I put the celica in this year? (Sorry for the thread-jacking... If I had a rolla I'd be asking if I could put it in the S&S!)

We are all in the same spot just that the rolla's will be all together. You can be the bridge car if you like.

Last call for entries guys, need to know by the end of this weekend so we can sort it all out. We are right next to the CCG display so you can still take part with the CCG as well, basically it will be one big Toyota display between CCG and Rolla Club.

That's fine but if you want to be part of the show and shine I need you to enter and fill in the entry form otherwise you will just be part of the display. Cars that are not offically entered will not be able to win prizes.
