Tried that at previous meets and just got s**t photos so didn't bother this time.
Congrats on class win. I'll actually wander over and say hi next time...
Did you get any video footage?
Cheers,
Todd
not trying hard enough for the action shots!!
<------ (and Pyschofoxs avatar)
some nice pics in there...i am hoping to get to one again soon...next one is 1st April right? same as wollongong![]()
The only problem I have is no-one takes photos of an AE82 wallowing around the track for me to use as an avatar.![]()
Will try harder next time for action shots![]()
Yep, April 1. Same day as Goulburn Swap Meet. Probably just as well, I only buy stuff I don't need for a project that is never going to be finished...
cool hopefully i won't be working that weekend and can make it down to one of them...which one i will have to decide on later![]()
we got footage, but the camera seems to be playing up when I'm capturing it. I'll try and get it up tonightOriginally Posted by Toddski

Q. Got Vids...........???
A. yes.

First vid is steve in his GZE hatch
then Matt in his GE Levin Coupe
then steve again
nice videos,
bit of lounge chair racing here, but none-the-less
The corner after the chicane where you start to head up the hill, SOO much time available there by taking the chicane slightly slower allowing a super clean late apex to get on the throttle early up the hill!
That was one of the areas i improved on majorly throughout the day, focusing on getting the power down earlier and earlier through that single corner!! As the earlier you get on it there, the faster you are up that whole next straight
most of the other corners aren't as easy to find time on, the top corner been a 180° (ish) corner makes it hard to get on the power early, the fast corner, not much to be gained there, same with the last corner (due to the short run to the finish line)
Cheers
Nathan
just for those that don't know the track.......

excuse dodgy paint photoshop
anyways something like that line is what i am talking about (the first part of it is dodgy as hell, but the final corner is about right)
it allows you to get on the power early and carry that pace all the way up the hill.
i hope to be at the April one, i believe my dad might be there with his M3...so i would like to be there to show him how its done

Thats what i was aiming for, but i always pushed to hard throught the sweeper and ended up scandy'ing into that corner...

Woohoo! Action shot of the White Bomb. Excellent. Thanks Rowan.
Why don't you slap some rego on the TA22 and bring it out on 1st April with a For Sale sign on it and throw it around the track - might generate some interest.
And thanks SprinterBoy for the videos - great learning opportunity to see how other people go around (my lines through the corners are ... not too crash hot).
Hope to see you all at the 1st April meet - could be a good Toyota turnout.
Cheers,
Todd
No worries! Will Try and get more next time, still playing around with the best position for the camera,
gotta love steve's car being the test pig for everything!
