    Default JZA70 v's MA70 rear hubs

Can anyone shed any light on whether they are the same?

I have a JZA70 diff and driveshafts in the GT8 so looking to go the whole hog use supra outer CVs and hubs to hopefully remove the last 'weakness' in the rear end...the poor stock GT4 outer CVs and hubs.

I take it Toyota will only have MA70 hubs so kinda hoping they are the same to save me the hassle of fabricating a set of JZA70s.

Why wouldn't Toyota have the JZA70 parts? I thought they were Aus delivered?

Um I think you find that the GA70 and MA/JZA70 Brakes are differnt. Not positive ont eh rears but the fronts are. Disks are smaller for one... I think they are teh same as the MZ20's going on a convosation on the weekend.

i gaurentee you they are the same. I own an ma70, and these GA70 brakes look and measure identical. MZ20 soarers had different brakes, ALL 70 series supra had the same.

I was told by an engineer that to do a JZA70 from a GA70 you HAD to upgrade the brakes to MA70 ones because they were the same as the JZA70 brake. If you can prove he's wrong cool. What year GA70 brakes do you have? perhaps the later models came with the same and the earlier ones smaller.

NO trust me they ARE ALL THE SAME.

I have had a GA70 front cut here, a JZA70 front end, a GA70 ass end and i also own an MA70 which i drive. THey are all the same

    MA70 is 1986,
    Ga70s were 88 and 92 from memory
    JZA70 was 91

I think ur engineer has supra ans soarer mixed up
