gearbox conversion, upgrade from a T50

Hi guy's i have just blown my 2nd T50 sprinter box in six months in my ae86 4AGZE rally car, i was wondering who would know the ideal box to use, and who does the convesions if it is too hard to do it myself.
I am thinking of W58 or disel hilux gearbox (disel boxes are usually closer ration)

Any input would be of assistance

I'll jump in before someone knocks your head off about searching.

w5x = w55,w57,w58

First you need to source a w5x to 4a bellhousing, which you can get from dellow (i'm sure someone will comment on their "great customer service") or niteparts in NZ or from bill sherwood(aka billzilla, search and you'll find him)

I've heard good things about the niteparts item, as it fits the bigger 225mm flywheel from the 4agze and looks like a factory casting, unsure of the others.


Then you'll want a w5x box of some type, i'm not sure what a diesel hilux comes with but its probably a w5 variant.

there are many sites you can find the ratios for, which you can find via google www.google.com

a w55 is closest to a t50 ratios wise, but later boxes have a more even rev drop between the gears. w57/w58 require low low ratio diffs, or you'll end up with a 250kmh capable box, probably not what you want for a rally car
