The AE86 had a "T" axle, but it would probably be just as difficult to find one in good shape. You may want to consider rebuilding the current diff. Are you sure it not just a axle shaft bearing?

Hi Guys I the diff in my RA60 is making some unpleasant noise so time for a replacement. Any suggestions on where I can track one down. I’m guessing a visit to the wreckers will be the go. What models did the series the T series go in?
Cheers Andrew

I'm with davew7, rebuild what you have. If not, after researching part lists, you can look for post 8/83 AE86 centre. Before that time T series used a smaller axle spline, where they slide into planetary gears in diff centre. Also as mentioned check axle bearings, they can make horrid noises.
Cheers.
