Unfortunately we have had to cancel the Toyotafest show and shine event for this year due to restrictions imposed by COVID. However, we didn’t want the date to slip by un-noticed. So rather than a physical car show, we are organising a virtual car show, Toymods CoronaFest 2020. The virtual event will run from October 3rd to 5th 2020 in a Facebook post located at:

ToyotaFest has always been a social event as much as it has been a show and shine event, so to keep the social aspect alive in a virtual world we are creating a virtual event with a twist, to not only show off your Toyota, but also the person behind the car to show the passion we all have for our chosen ride, and to encourage that same social interaction that happens at the physical ToyotaFest shows.

Getting involved is easy, simply record a 2-3 minute walk around video showing off your Toyota, or Toyota bodied vehicle and have it ready to post up, there will be a sample video posted below to give you an idea of what to aim for.

When the Official CoronaFest Post goes up on the Sat 3rd of October, simply upload your video to that post, and while you are there, scroll through the post and check out what others have posted. The sooner you post, the more exposure you will get.

Like their ride? Give it a thumbs up! Think the video is funny? Give them a laugh emoticon! Haven’t seen that person since lockdown? post a reply under their video, got a question about something they have done? Post a reply under their video.

What we are aiming for from this virtual event is a single post that everyone can scroll thru much like walking thru a normal Toyotafest Car show and shine, with a diverse range of Toyota’s to check out, new people to talk to, new ideas and progression of peoples projects.

And what’s better, if your car is a project in the garage, or you haven’t been able to attend because you live too far away this is your chance to get involved with ToyotaFest!

There will be prize pack awards from our normal sponsors Shannons, Nulon, DBA, Auto One Castle Hill to encourage getting a video up, any video has a chance to win an award.
So spend this weekend cleaning up your Toyota, shoot a quick video, and keep an eye out for the Official Video Post.

You don’t have to be part of Toymods or any other car club, or own a show car to enter ToyotaFest. If your Toyota is well presented, rare or just something you think other Toyota Enthusiasts would like to look at then we want you there. We encourage individuals and their families to enter and enjoy our event.

Entry for ToyotaFest is open to absolutely anyone who owns a Toyota badged vehicle. We do not care what engine, gearbox or drive line is in your Toyota, but the vehicle must be a body that was sold as a Toyota. (This includes Lexus but it DOES NOT include the Subaru BRZ, Holden Nova or any other 'Non Toyota' that was perhaps built by Toyota and sold by a different marque).

ToyotaFest is all about celebrating Toyota with like minded individuals. We encourage entry of Toyota's in all shapes and sizes. This is not a show for only the Street Elite or Trailer sailor variety. Our aim is to have a strong social element and friendly feel to the show while trying to gather a large and diverse collection of Toyota’s all on display for everyone to enjoy.

NOTE TO ALL VIDEO ENTRANTS…
• All vehicles entering ToyotaFest must be Toyota bodied (Engines don’t matter).
• Videos must be recorded in a safe environment (no recording whilst driving, drive by videos on public roads/property, no burnout videos), conduct themselves in a safe and orderly manner including the presentation of their vehicles.
• We have the right to delete any videos from the virtual event if they fail to comply with the event conditions of entry or expected participant behaviour.
• The Toymods Board reserves the right to add or delete prize categories or alter judging to suit each event.
• Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
