    Default TE21 Restomod

I bought a 1973 TE21 in November of 2019. The previous owner had restored the car about 9 years ago. All of the big stuff (drivetrain, paint, interior) is done pretty nicely. But there were a ton of little things that needed addressing or that I just wanted to change. Perhaps some of what I'm doing/learning will assist someone else. This is being documented at Purist Motorsports. If you click the link and scroll all the way to the bottom, you can work your way back up and track the changes chronologically. Pretty tickled with how it's coming along.

I fabricated a strut tower reinforcement bar --- pretty happy with the way it came out. Also included a rubber mount for the top of the motor to limit the torque reaction that the (relatively soft) motor mounts have to live with.
