    Default 2WD gearbox for 1VD-FTV

Spitballing the idea of a 1VD-FTV in a RWD application but trying to find whether there is a suitable gearbox out there. The VDJ79 uses a H151F and for all I know this gearbox was only used in 4WD applications. Is there a RWD H series that might work behind this engine? Even if it has to be a combination of several gearboxes I don't care. Found reference to the Coaster using this transmission but I cannot find any info on it.
I just think one of these in an old school 2WD truck would be the bees knees.
And before you all say it, yes I am well aware of the costs involved. At this stage I'd just like to know if the above can be achieved at all.

The coasters or dynas that were fited with 1hz/1hdts might use a variant of the H15x series box that would give you a straight rwd option if you could swap the rear housings/output shafts out. Have you seen a H15x box without the transfer case on? it may not be to hard to build some sort of carrier for a output shaft if your keen

I have been looking at the Dyna/Coaster offerings. It seems they use something quite different to the H series gearboxes we know of in the Cruisers. The bellhousing bolt up may be promising but I'd have to get hold of one to see. The rear section however looks very different so I doubt parts will mix and match. The bus gearboxes are all remote shift too, nothing direct on the floor. A 1VD in an old truck with column shift would be pretty damn cool though
I might just have to stick to going with a 1KD-FTV instead.
