Default SOLD VIC Selling Celica Ta22 1974 4AGE

    Celica Ta22 1974 4AGE.
For sale Orange TA22 for sale. There was a build thread on toymods many years ago by pulse if you can find it.
Thought I’d place it on toymods **$3500** before using the usual suspects.
I bought the car some years ago (about 5 I expect) (not from Pulse).
With a baby on the way I need the space (and time), so it’s time to find a new owner.

The car has current Reg till Jan19 but no RWC and no brakes…
So I’m selling the car with no RWC. (I’ll take the plates)
I don’t have any paper work on the engineering.
I had an issue with the engine number (transposed digit) which I have had corrected with vic roads. (Have paper work)
The car has been garaged since I have owned it. In the last year and a half it has seen no use.
The body is in pretty good condition with minimal rust, there are imperfections that need some TLC. (Rust has been removed, but not repainted).

    RE No Brakes!
I swapped out the fuel and started the car (new battery) the other day and took it for a drive only to find no brakes. No fluid in the reservoir and replacing the fluid still no joy.
(I could not find brake fluid under the car or in the car, so I have no idea where it went or what the problem is).
    Hand break works. 😉

The Smallport 4AGE and T50 gearbox are in good condition, the motor was rebuilt by grega on this forum. No idea how many KM it has since seen.
The car has the standard 4AGE computer installed. (The wiring should be reviewed.) There is a surge tank mounted in the boot.
The car suspension has urethane bushes throughout (from memory)
Alloy radiator (wrong size but works)
There are non-standard (Honda integra) seats that make the driver sit higher in the cabin. I’d suggest you will need different seats. There are spare seats (pretend racing) in bad condition.
The tail lights are flats from a 1972 celica, there is also a standard set included.
The car has a aftermarket steering wheel, there is also a standard steering wheel included.
The car has a GT oil/amp gauge installed. (The car has a VDO turbo gauge mounted..)
    Tyres have good tread.

Issues that I can think of...
The driver side ball joint needs replacing.
The exhaust manifold has sprung a leak.
The bonnet does not lift cleanly.
Has no charcoal canister on the fuel system.
    It’s an old car.
    It’s an old car.

As part of the sale there is a 1974 Green TA22 shell on blocks no running gear, lots of rust.
You can rat whatever, or take the shell. Bonnet has rust but a pretty turbo vent.
The shell has a half fuel tank because I played with LPG 20 years ago. The doors also have rust but are straight.

The person purchasing the car @$3500 has first first offer on all the additional parts I have accumulated over the years.

Two sets of mag Wheels 14inch and 15inch.
Two 4AGE motors, one with standard loom and computer.
Alloy radiator for TA22, (need to swap outlet side from memory for a 4AGE or a long pipe.)
    Two W50 gearboxes.
One reconditioned with the tag still on it. Picked up from a out of business transmission place never used then sold to me years ago… so the story goes.
The second W50 is from my older 3TGTEU powered car. This box came out working and has a short shifter.
One diff centre and tail shaft to match the W50.
Front Grill and Front lights Hella are the outer set and landing lights inner.
Adaptor plate for a W50 to T50 bell housing. (You need to grind some of the T50 bell housing to make it fit) BRP racing.
Front struts with Gabriel gas shocks. Done by IDB automotive many years ago. 11inch alloy disks conversion with twin spot callipers (crown).
I had the calipers rebuilt a few years ago, because giving some work to a mate, they are back on the struts but I never fitted the struts to the car.
HKS 2510 turbo (tiny bit of shaft play) good condition.
    440cc injectors (cleaned/serviced)
    New Micro squirt ECU board
    New Cast turbo manifold.
    New 4AGE ARP Head studs
New 4AGE Toyota OEM 8.5 CR .5 over size piston set (Forged ceramic toped) (American Supercharged MR2)
    New 4AGE lightweight flywheel.

    3TGTEU bellhousing
3TGTEU flywheel and “one ton” clutch (yellow HPM)” (IDB many years ago) and disk in reasonable condition.
    3TGTEU clutch
3TGTEU motor (broken ring lands I expect) detonation. (Incomplete).
    3TGTEU starter motor somewhere.
Additional struts. I think might be crown or RA23
Broken T50 box (don’t know, it just came with Orange car).
    3TGTEU oil pan.
    Oil cooler

Agree, more like 6K for fair value, but it is priced to move.
Sorry no swap as i'm exiting the car hobby space for the time been.
Next car would be a track only car, might save some bits for a PRB clubman in the future.

I think this is my old car, sold it 2006. Do you know where it went or how to get in contact?
