    Default ToyotaFest #14 - Sunday 1st October 2017

    http://www.toyotafest.org.au/

Toymods car club is proud to present

TOYOTA FEST #14 - 2017 All Toyota Car Show

This year all entries will ONLY be accepted online.
Entries will open start of August (closing about 1 week prior to the event)
Spectators are welcome to come and go as they please. Parking for spectators must be found outside the dealership!

    CASTLE HILL TOYOTA

    2 Victoria Ave, CASTLE HILL
    Rear Carpark (undercover)
Sunday, 1st October 2017 Long Weekend

    DONT FORGET DAYLIGHT SAVINGS!

Castle Hill Toyota have offered the use of their rear dealership carpark again for this year’s event, allowing the show to be 90% undercover if it happens to rain.., so there are no excuses for not attending!

    How do you enter...?
To be eligible to enter, the vehicle must be Toyota bodied, but any engine and driveline combination is welcome. You DO NOT have to be a member of the Toymods Car Club to enter and we encourage other Toyota clubs to present Club displays.

$20 Entry per Vehicle. Spectators/passengers are always FREE!!!

All the details of the show are available here http://www.toyotafest.org.au/
This year we will have a limited print ToyotaFest #14 t-shirt available for purchase with entrant registration

    Trophy classes and eligibility...
ToyotaFest has always been a show where anyone can put their Toyota on display regardless of what model it is or the amount of time, effort, money and skill that has been lovingly consumed by it. Acknowledging this, the ToyotaFest organisers have decided to revise the Trophy Classes for 2017 to better cater for and encourage the broad spectrum of vehicles that make this show great.Street Elite
In line with the desired community feel and social focus of the event we have reduced the number of categories judged by officials to 4 elite show car categories.

    • Best of Show – Highest overall scoring vehicle
    • Best Paint & Panel – Best finish and workmanship of vehicle exterior
    • Best Interior – Best finish and workmanship of vehicle interior
    • Top Engine Bay – Best presented engine bay

    Entrant’s Choice
The entrant’s choice trophy has always been awarded to the vehicle that has impressed not the judges but the competitors who have given their all to present their pride and joy to the show. These are vehicles that standout from the crowd not because of the flawless paint or highly polished engine bays but because they are amazing cars that are most appreciated by their peers. Logic would suggest that the best of show would be a shoe in for this award but this is rarely the case. This award is for ‘that car’ which is amazing in spite of its flaws. In line with the community feel of ToyotaFest, we have decided to expand the entrant’s choice category to include a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophy.

    Other Awards
With the generous support of our sponsors, we will have a number of prize packs that will be awarded to entrants for a variety of deserving reasons. Whilst no trophy will be awarded with the prize pack, it gives us an opportunity to recognise the efforts that competitors have made to prepare their cars and attend the event. The total number of prize packs available and the reason for each award will be disclosed at the event.
*Please note trophy categories are subject to change closer to event date.

    VERY IMPORTANT INFO...

Entrants are encouraged to arrive from 7.30am with last entrants accepted into the display at 8.55am for a 9am start.

Trophy presentation will start around 2.30pm. The event will officially close at 3.00pm with ALL cars remaining until then. In the interest of public safety (and the conditions of our insurance), NO vehicle may be moved or started during the display... NO EXCEPTIONS!

Vehicles being trailered will need to be escorted into the venue for unloading prior to 8am if the vehicle is not mobile.

Again, Toymods will be organising a few 'side' events for the interstate enthusiasts. To make their trip worthwhile, we will be having a drag night at WSID as well as the standard dinner and social chat after the Show!
More events may eventuate so keep a wary eye out for announcements.

Get onto the Toymods Forum and/or Facebook Page and register your interest in the event to keep up with all the news as it happens.

Hey guys, just letting you know that there's a typo in the first post. It still says "Sunday, 2nd October 2016".

Wanted to thank all involved for putting on such a great event. First time i've taken her to a show and so glad she got to to come out of the shed for this. Found the day so well organised with an awesome casual feel surrounded by so many good people. And lets not forget the awesome displays of machines from all. So so so many nice cars i found myself drooling over. Was really suprised how large a turnout of cars and spectators.
Enjoyed the day so much that i did the membership thing here too.

Thanks again and so much looking forward to the next outing. I don't really do the bookface thing, so it's great for me this forum still going.

    Cheers,
    Vas
