Default Wiring in SP1 for late model A341E Transmission?

    Hi guys,

    New member! I just replaced the blown A341E transmission in my 1993 UCF10 LS400 with a later model A341E from a 1995 UCF20.

Later model transmissions don't have SP1 sensor ports so now I have no speedo or cruise control. Other than this, the transmission is working great!

Is there a way I can tap into the SP2 signal to feed the speedometer?

Alternatively, there is a round indentation in the transmission casting where the sensor could go. Could I drill and tap that to insert the sensor? Perhaps the inner gears don't exist though in the later trans? Both transmissions were listed as 30-41LE.

    Cheers,

    Martin

I make speedo/tacho signal converters which can fix your problem
Or you can use parts from your old transmission to fit the 2nd sensor
