Got my w58/w59 (7mgte box) box freshened up (new input shaft bearing, gear needle bearings aswell as having the dogteeth filed and re sealed). Clutch is a eCM stage 4 6 puk, extreme duty racing pressure plate, with a lightened flywheel. Was told (by the gearbox guys who worked on it) that only redline heavy shockproof should be used (as the clutch may cause damage to the box if it's any other oil) or "smurf blood" Kinda having second thoughts about running oil this thick (box had about 83xxxkm's before the bearings got charged). What oil should should l really be using? Any info will be great. Thanks

I used redline MT90 in mine. Best shifting box I've ever used. YMMV
