Hi Jake, I went through the R&P 18RG experience & the sump mod was by far the hardest part. As well as trimming down the 18r front sump bulge, you'll have to extend/mod the oil pickup so you can clear the rack.
hey guys tryed searching and i cant find the old thread that has all the info in it. all i can find is the thread about the steering collom
i dont need this as i already have the ke70 steering collom in
i had ra60 front end in but it was horrid. im changing it to ke70 to gain a more stock and drive-able set up
can anyone point me in the direction of the old thread? or even just some pics of their conversion?
i am going to keep my 18rg but im going to mod the sump and also mount the engine back further with running quad throttles and custom extractors. all to imporve ballance and handling.

i was aware of that. i was also looking at getting the motor to sit back further than stock. roughly an inch. looks like they sit along way off the firewall from stock anyway.
and increasing the capacity of the sump. possibly winging it?
im not great with welding so i will be getting someone else to do that and also baffling the inside of the sump.
do you have any pics of your sump?
also im looking for into a pics of the ke70 cross member in the car. do you have any? more so of your engine mounts to
