I could use some advice here.
Converted the rear drum brakes on my t-series celica axle to disks. Used volkswagen golf mk4 calipers and nissan primera disks.
A celica supra ma61 master cylinder and booster.
Problem is that i get far too less pressure on the rear breaks. Even if the system is a 100% free of air. Front brakes are okay.
I read somewhere that i probably need to replace the stock proportioning valve as well. Since disk brakes need more fluid displacement than drum brakes. Is that correct? I have a ma61 proportioning valve available. This is a 4 disk car. Could i installing this valve solve the problem?
Any advice is highly appreciated!..
