Default Classic car owners Eager for Bridgestone throwback

Australian classic car enthusiasts asked for it and Bridgestone delivered. Now, the much-loved Bridgestone Eager SF-330 is back on Australian roads.

“In the 70s and 80s, a Holden Kingswood or Ford Falcon wasn’t complete without chrome hubcaps and a set of Bridgestone Eagers,” said Bridgestone’s Product Planning Manager Kenneth Howlett.

“Over the past few years we noticed the Eager SF-330 was still a hot topic of conversation in classic car forums, with people wondering where it had gone and how they could get their hands on a set.”

Taking their feedback on board, Bridgestone thought it was high time Australian drivers had access to their old favourite once again.

“At Bridgestone we pride ourselves on listening to consumers and delivering the right products to suit their needs. One of the major reasons why we began utilising social media late last year was so we could be closer to our customers,” Mr Howlett said.

“Thankfully the SF-330 was still in production to supply other countries, so we were able deliver what Australian classic car enthusiasts were asking for.”

The Bridgestone Eager SF-330 was designed to enhance the look and performance of street machines and hot rods, and comes complete with raised white lettering on the side-wall.

But good looks aren’t the only thing it has to offer.

“The SF-330 is a performance tyre which provides accurate high speed handling and resistance to slipping on wet and dry surfaces. The square shoulder and tread pattern design provide excellent grip and traction for better standing starts,” Mr Howlett said.

“With the return of the Bridgestone Eager SF-330 the glory days look set to continue for classic car owners across the country.”
